The shutter won't go up
Broken torsion spring or motor in thermal cut-out, common in summer on south-facing facades. Unlocking, spring or motor replacement, recalibration. 45–90 min — read the guide to this fault

Bent slat, shutter jammed in the guide rail
Impact or attempted break-in. Cold straightening or slat replacement, realignment of the guides, welding on site if the curtain is torn. 30–60 min

Roller shutter stuck, motor silent
Capacitor, limit switch or dead motor (Somfy, Simu, Bubendorff, Nice). Electrical test, replacement, reprogramming of the remote. 45 min – 2 h

Garage door stuck or no longer closing
Broken spring or cable, deformed rail, faulty motor or photocell. Immediate making safe, replacement, limit switch adjustment. 45 min – 2 h

Security door slammed shut, key snapped, seized lock
Damage-free opening wherever possible, key extraction, cylinder or lock replacement on a quote given beforehand. 20–45 min

Broken awning, loose railing
Awning arm, torn fabric, dangerous railing: immediate making safe, repair or fabrication in the workshop. 30 min to make safe
